Best Source for Real Website Traffic

You have a website, it is a good website, and you believe everyone who sees it will also love it, but there is one problem. No one knows where it is or even sees it. Oh you are listed on Google, Yahoo, etc, but when someone searches for a site like yours they get a list consisting of a quarter of a million sites, and your site is number 2967. That is actually quite good, 2967 out of 250,000. But it still means that surfers have 2966 sites to look at before yours. If you are very lucky, then all the search engines combined will send you about one visitor a year! So it is time for you to do something about the problem.
But what or how do you correct this problem? How do you generate traffic to your website?
There are several sources and methods to choose from to generate traffic for your website, but how do you know which one to use? Well, for starters, let’s review the following list of methods being used by most website owners today:
1. Free Classifieds:
One question, have you ever purchase a product or service from a free classified ad? If not, why would you believe that anybody else would do so?
2. Free For All Links:
Let’s be honest about this, do you or have you ever visit a FFA page looking for a product or service? Probably not. And if you are visiting FFA pages what makes you believe other people are aside from posting their own links.
3. Blogs:
Posting an ad on a blog tends to irritate blog readers. People don’t visit blogs to view the advertising and in my opinion, posting an ad on a blog is a waste of time.
4. IP to IP Ads:
These ads are not even clickable.
5. Ezine Articles:
You need to have thousands and thousands of users view your article before you can get just one person to view your website.
6. Search Engines:
Virtually impossible to get a top 10 ranking without spending a small fortune on SEO services. Your website gets buried or thrown on page 20 at best, and thus nobody ever knows your website exists, and thus they never see your site.
7. Rotating Traffic / Auto Surf Websites:
This sounds like a great idea, but the people surfing these sites are not really interested in the websites they are viewing. They are surfing those websites in order to make money for themselves by getting paid a penny ($.01) for every website they view.
8. Banner and Text Ads:
Not a bad source for traffic, but these ads are expensive. Sure there are many websites that offer cheap advertising (look on Ebay), but these sites are ranked so low in the search engines that nobody sees them either. The only people looking at these sites are probably people like you who are looking for cheap advertising sources.
7. Mass Emailing:
How do you feel about receiving hundreds of emails ads everyday? Do you ever look at them, or do you just delete them without ever reading them? If you are like most people, you hate SPAM or unsolicited emails. More importantly, sending mass emails typically requires several hours of work to generate enough emails (read: millions of emails) to get a handful of those people to actually visit your site. And worst of all, if you’re fortunate, maybe 1 out every 100 million emails will result in a sale, which might be OK if you make a $1,000 per sale. Otherwise, it is a lot of work for very little return. The Cost Benefit Ratio doesn't justify the expense.
Now, please don’t misunderstand my point, because each of the aforementioned methods is important and can in fact assist you in getting visitors to your website, making sales, or getting sign-ups, and most importantly help your website’s page rank and position in the search engines. But regardless of this fact, none of these methods, either by themselves or combined, will ever help you generate the sales and profits you want and need.
So, what does work?
Targeted traffic is the answer. It is the most efficient and effective means for generating traffic, increasing your website’s ranking and creating immediate sales and profits for your online business. It’s even effective for blogs. What’s the point of having any website if you don’t have visitors, or if you have to spend several hours every day trying to get people to your website?
Now I’m not suggesting you purchase just any targeted traffic from just any traffic provider, because there are thousands of traffic providers that claim to send real visitors to your website, but in fact are actually sending you “bot” traffic. “Bot” traffic is fake traffic generated by a software program in an attempt to convince both the website owner and search engines that there are tons of people suddenly interested in your website. This used to be a great way to fool the search engines into assigning websites a better ranking, but the search engines figured this out about a month after people started doing it, and in turn the search engines now penalize websites for using this tactic and push the websites so far away from page 1 that nobody can ever find them and thus never nobody ever sees the websites.
Also, you don’t want your website traffic to go from 10 visitors a day to 1,000 visitors a day overnight. The search engines look at this the same way as they do “bot” traffic. So be very diligent in deciding which company to purchase targeted traffic from. Ethical and legitimate traffic providers will send real targeted traffic to your website, and also in a manner that reflects a natural or organic increase in traffic. Your traffic should increase gradually and fluctuate daily, which is to say that your traffic should begin building slowly from a few dozen visitors a day, then maybe 100 visitors a day and everntually several hundred or thousands of visitors per day. Your traffic should also fluctuate because that is also natuarl. Any website that continues to consistently increase the number of visitors every day without ever going down is a major red flag to the search engines and they will eventually (sooner, rather than later) determine you're traffic is not genuine and will then throw your site to back of the line. The proper way to deliver traffic and fluctuate naturally would be for maybe 842 visitors one day and then only 531 visitors the next day. So again, be cautious and diligent before choosing a traffic provider.
By using targeted traffic in combination with the other methods outlined above, you should not only begin to get immediate sales and sign-ups, but most importantly, you will indeed see your search engine and page rankings climb steadily upwards. It takes, time, energy, commitment, and some money to achieve the results you are looking for, but when you begin to see the results it is one of the best feelings imaginable. It feels like SUCCESS! If you haven't already experienced that feeling yet, trust me that when you finally do, it will have been worth the effort.
I sincerely wish you the greatest success with your endeavors and hope you find this information beneficial to your website’s success.
